In Kyrgyzstan, prices and tariffs grow by 9.7%, highest in Jalal-Abad

In January-November of this year (compared to December of the previous year), the growth of consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan as a whole amounted to 9.7%, Chinara Turdubaeva, head of the department of consolidated work, communications and information dissemination of the National Statistics Committee of the republic told.

She said that prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, food and soft drinks, non-food products, tariffs for services provided to the population have increased.

Turdubaeva noted that the growth in prices was observed in all regions of the country. The maximum increase in prices was recorded in Jalal-Abad Oblast - 13.8%, which was due to an increase in prices for non-food products by 19%.
