Bishkek, April 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, the incidence of tuberculosis and HIV decreased in January-March 2021.
The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance said that the incidence of tuberculosis decreased by 21.5%, with 961 (14.6) cases recorded compared to 1,212 (18.6) cases in 2020. The highest rate is observed in Chui Oblast (21.6) and Osh city (15.1).
The total number of HIV-infected persons also decreased by 15.4%, 215 cases (3.3) compared to 253 cases (3.9) in 2020. The highest incidence rates are observed in Chui Oblast (4.0) and Bishkek city (9.7).
