Bishkek, Apr. 7, 2018 / Kabar /. In connection with the incident on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Kamil Rashidov was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
On April 7, 2018 at 8:20 in Aksy region on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, Uzbek servicemen used firearms against the citizen of Kyrgyzstan born in 1984, who died in territorial hospital.
"The same day, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Kamil Rashidov was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlan Abdrakhmanov informed about the incident and handed over the Note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a request to inform about the circumstances of the incident," the report said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic holds this issue under control and is in touch with the relevant services of the two countries.
