Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with heads of leading Indian clinics Fortis and Dharamshila Narayana.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting took place as part of Kazakbaev’s participation in Third Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the India-Central Asia Dialogue in New Delhi.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss and consider further steps to optimize the conditions for the treatment of Kyrgyz patients in Indian hospitals.
Given the large number of Kyrgyzstanis traveling to foreign countries for treatment, particularly to India for organ transplantation, Ruslan Kazakbaev stressed the importance of expanding telemedicine to all seven oblasts of Kyrgyzstan, opening diagnostic centers in remote regions of the republic.
In this context, the minister invited Indian doctors to visit Kyrgyzstan to explore the prospects for cooperation in the medical field.
In turn, leaders of the Fortis network of hospitals told about the intention to open information and counseling centers of Indian clinics in Bishkek and Osh, which will aim to organize the treatment of Kyrgyz patients in Fortis clinics, as well as exchange of experience on organ transplantation, trainings, master classes for doctors from the Kyrgyz Republic.
Representatives of the Dharamshila Narayana told about plans to open an official representative office in the Kyrgyz capital in the near future, and also expressed their readiness to organize treatment for Kyrgyz citizens at affordable prices.
Following the meeting, Kazakbaev invited heads of the above Indian clinics to Kyrgyzstan and expressed readiness to provide necessary assistance, including the organization of meetings with the leadership of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry, interested state bodies and the business community of the Kyrgyz Republic.
