India to consider allocating quotas for Kyrgyz citizens to receive treatment in their clinics

Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2023 / Kabar/. Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova met with Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan Arun Kumar Chatterjee.

According to the press service of the ministry, first of all, the minister thanked the ambassador for his work in this post and the establishment of friendly relations between the two peoples.

The parties discussed a number of issues of cooperation. The main issue of the meeting was the further effective functioning of the Kyrgyz-Indian Mountain Biomedical Research Center at the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy, the launch of the 3rd phase of a joint research program to improve public health.

In addition, the minister asked Arun Kumar Chatterjee to consider the possibility of providing quotas for citizens of Kyrgyzstan to receive high-tech medical treatment in Indian clinics.

The ambassador informed that India is ready to consider the issue of allocating quotas for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their intention for further fruitful bilateral cooperation, including the development of telemedicine, medical education, pharmaceuticals, etc.
