Bishkek, Sept. 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . Representatives of the largest Indian corporation BFL visited Ulan JSC in Karakol, Issyk-Kul Oblast, the press service of the Dastan Transnational Corporation said.
Members of the delegation were acquainted with the production cycle of manufactured products at the enterprise, and also got acquainted with the work of the plant, where the testing grounds are located.
Earlier, contracts were signed between Dastan Transnational Corporation and the Ministry of Defense of the Government of India for about USD 10 million.
"For many years, the Ulan plant was idle. We, as the major shareholders of Ulan JSC, directed our competence to solve the financial and production problems of the plant. As for the signing of the new contract with the Indian partners, we can state with confidence that we have reached a completely new powerful level. This will give impetus to the development of not only Dastan, but also the economy of Kyrgyzstan as a whole,” Chairman of the Board of the Dastan Transnational Corporation Talant Imanov said.
Another large-scale contract for the supply of military-industrial complex (MIC) products is planned, the implementation of which will create jobs, replenish the country's budget, channel resources for innovative technological development and give the corporation the opportunity to increase productivity.
Dastan Transnational Corporation has a controlling stake in the Ulan plant, which jointly produce special products. The company (Dastan) is a leading enterprise in the CIS for the production and sale of naval equipment systems, electronic devices, medical centrifuges, consumer products including electrical household appliances, heating devices and other industrial and technical goods.
