Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. An infectious diseases hospital made of prefabricated frame-and-panel structures has been opened in Osh, Head of the Public Health Department of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said during a news briefing on Tuesday.
According to her, the hospital is already functioning to date.
She also noted that under a bilateral agreement with Russia, Kyrgyzstan was awarded a certificate for a mobile laboratory.
"These mobile laboratories support the diagnosis of coronavirus infection in remote regions. In addition, sanitary and epidemiological stations of regions received 19 ambulances,” the message said.
The infectious diseases hospital in Osh consists of 3 wards for 100 beds. The construction began on July 28, 2020.
