Infectious hospital in Bishkek to be closed for disinfection, 19 doctors infected with COVID-19

Bishkek, May 30, 2020 / Kabar /. 19 medical workers became infected with COVID-19 in the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, the situation is difficult, Deputy Health Mminister of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a news briefing.

He said that the reason could be the barracks of doctors, when they work around the clock and without leaving the hospital.

“Also there were patients in the intensive care. It was decided to discharge all patients and carry out disinfection. Also give time to doctors for observational events. Now the Ministry’s order has been prepared. The city hospital No. 6 will accept patients with COVID-19 in the city, and a railway hospital and a Kyrgyz-Turkish hospital will also be prepared,” Usenbaev said.
