Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . Over 9 months of 2021, the inflow of foreign investment in Kyrgyzstan amounted to more than $503 million, Acting Minister of Investment Nuradil Bayasov told during a briefing on Friday.
He added that only for the first six months of this year, the budget revenue figures have reached the results for the first 9 months of 2020.
"This means that despite the political processes taking place inside the country, despite COVID-19 restrictions, we are seeing positive dynamics," Bayasov said.
The acting minister noted that in 2020, not only in Kyrgyzstan, but around the world, global investment fell by 42% due to the impact of the pandemic.
"About $852 billion was invested in 2020 globally. However, the dynamics are changing for the better this year," he added.
