Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2022. / Kabar /. Information about a planted bomb in the building of the Asia Mall shopping center in Bishkek was not confirmed, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the response plan when a message with a threat of a terrorist attack was received, employees of the State Committee for National Security visited the scene of the incident, where, together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the security service of the mall, visitors and employees of the shopping center were evacuated.
During the inspection of the building and the adjacent territory, explosive and other dangerous substances were not found, and therefore, the work of the shopping center was resumed at 19:00.
At the same time, the conducted search activities identified the owner of the mobile number, which turned out to be a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, whose involvement in this crime is currently being verified, as well as other circumstances of the incident are being established.
