Bishkek, Nov. 9, 2023. / Kabar/. Pilots of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic evacuated from Ratsek Peak a Russian tourist who was injured.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the ministry’s helicopter was brought in to evacuate the tourist.
In order to land the helicopter, a group of rescuers from among the climbers lowered the victim to an altitude of 3900 meters above sea level, from where the victim was taken by helicopter and he was hospitalized in the hospital.
“Earlier, the management of Ak-Sai Travel LLC contacted us with a request to allocate a helicopter for an emergency rescue operation. A citizen of the Russian Federation, Andrei Gadimov, born in 1982, needed help after receiving a leg injury while climbing Ratsek Peak at an altitude of 4 thousand 300 meters above sea level,” the report said.
