Tashkent, Feb. 2, 2022 . / Kabar /. The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and the Russian biotech company Geropharm signed an agreement to start practical steps to develop the project of production and supply of vital insulin drugs.
The press service of the Uzbek Investment Ministry reported that a joint working group will be created to work out a project on localization of insulin production in Uzbekistan.
The implementation of the project will significantly increase the availability of a number of vital drugs for people with diabetes and will be an important step in reducing the dependence of the health system of Uzbekistan on imports of these drugs.
