Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2024. /Kabar/. The city of Osh is hosting the 8th International Boxing Tournament, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports said Thursday.
The sporting event is dedicated to the memory of honored coach of the Kyrgyz Republic Samarbek Bapanov.
More than 100 athletes from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and all regions of Kyrgyzstan are taking part in the competition.
The tournament, organized by the Osh City Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, as well as the Osh City Sports School of Boxing and Weightlifting, will end on Oct. 19.
