Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. An international universal exhibition-fair “Issyk-Kul-2018” was opened in Karakol town of Kyrgyzstan. The organizers are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Issyk-Kul oblast state administration.
The exhibition presents products from approximately 60 domestic and foreign companies from China, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Kyrgyz companies came to Karakol from all the regions of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the event is to attract foreign investments in development of entrepreneurship in Issyk-Kul region, in the light of implementing a Presidential decree on declaring 2018 the Year of Regional Development.
The place for the business event was not chosen by chance. At present the resort area of Issyk-Kul Lake attracts a huge number of tourists from all over the world. For further successful development of the region, it is necessary to implement infrastructure projects, improve service delivery, establish joint enterprises, production and develop the area of tourism.
The first international universal exhibition-fair “Issyk-Kul-2018” is scheduled for August 20 – 22, 2018. During this period В2В meetings, business forums, entertainment programme will be organized within the exhibition with the aim to create a dialogue platform for establishing business relations.
The organizers express confidence that the event would strengthen trade-economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and other countries, unite both domestic entrepreneurs and companies from CIS and other countries on-site, provide a unique opportunity to demonstrate new products and services, and to find new business partners.
Kyrgyzstan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established on December 24, 1959, is a non-governmental organization, which aims at promoting development of Kyrgyzstan’s economy, its integration into the world economic system, establishing a modern infrastructure of market relations, creating favorable conditions for foreign economic activity, promoting the development of goods export and services, comprehensive expansion of trade-economic and scientific-technical relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and other countries.
