International Forum of Rectors to be held in Kyrgyzstan for the first time

Bishkek, April 9, 2021. / Kabar /. The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan will hold the International Forum of University Rectors "The role of education in the development of the world economy in the post-COVID period" on September 5-8, 2021 in Bishkek, Minister Almazbek Beishenaliev said.

This event will bring together representatives of more than 200 universities from all over the world to solve the problems of international cooperation and cooperation of universities in the field of research and education.

The purpose of the forum is to bring together rectors of universities and top managers of the world's leading universities on one platform, to initiate the signing of interuniversity agreements on cooperation at the international level.

At present, the organizing committee, which included the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the rectors of the leading universities of the republic, approved the Action Plan for the preparation and holding of the Forum, prepared a draft program of the Forum and is working on compiling a list of foreign participants.
