International hockey tournament for Mayor's Cup kicks off in Bishkek

Bishkek, Mar. 25, 2019. /Kabar/. The opening of the International Ice Hockey Tournament for the Cup of the Mayor of Bishkek among youth teams born in 2009 and younger took place at the ice hockey arena of the city skating rink, the press service of Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.

Hockey players, Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynai Omurbekova, Mayor Aziz Surakmatov, General Director of the Moscow House of Culture in Bishkek Ruslan Abdygulov, UNDP acting Resident Representative Aliona Niculita, Director of the State Agency Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanat Amankulov, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Bishkek Mayor’s Office Daulet Dosaliyev and representatives of the delegations of the teams.

8 teams from Russia, USA, Czech Republic, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the competition. It will last until March 29.
