Osh, Dec. 13, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city is hosting from Dec. 11 the International Kyrgyz Kurosh (Kyrgyz wrestling) Tournament. 150 athletes from Uzbekistan, all regions of Kyrgyzstan, the cities of Osh and Bishkek take part in the tournament.
The opening ceremony of the sporting event was attended by Deputy Osh Mayor Sonunbek Zhunusbaev, Chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Osh Bekdoolot Abakirov, President of the Kyrgyz Wrestling Federation Ryskeldi Shamshiev, Head of the National Sports Administration of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Azhigulov, President of the Kyrgyz Wrestling Federation in Osh and Osh Oblast Zhumadyl Kyrgyzbaev, veterans of sports, coaches and athletes.
Winners and medalists of the tournament will be awarded diplomas, medals and valuable gifts from the organizers of the event - the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the city and the Kyrgyz Wrestling Federation in Osh and Osh Oblast.
In addition, cash prizes will be awarded to winners in the absolute categories of up to 80 kg and over 80 kg.
