Bishkek, Feb. 19, 2021 / Kabar /. An event, dedicated to the 120th anniversaries of Kyrgyz and Soviet linguist Kusein Karasayev, Kyrgyz poet and statesman Kasym Tynystanov and the International Mother Language Day was held at the state residence of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Bishkek Mayor’s Office’s press service reported that the event was attended by Acting Mayor of the capital Baktybek Kudaibergenov, representative of the National Commission on State Language under President of Kyrgyzstan Temirbek Osmonaliyev, professor of the Bishkek Humanities University Tilektesh Ishemkulov, daughter of Kusein Karasayev and teachers.
Videos, films, photo slides dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the outstanding personalities of the Kyrgyz people were shown during the event.
The event ended with a festive concert by the Door folklore and ethnographic ensemble of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office.
