International Sambo and Judo Tournament to be held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Apr. 9, 2019 / Kabar /. On April 13, Bishkek will host the International tournament on sambo and judo, dedicated to the memory of the Asian champion, bronze medalist of the World Championship and the multiple champion of the Kyrgyz Republic Bekbolot Rakhatbekov, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.

The championship will be held on April 13 and 14 from 9:00 am among the boys of 2001 - 2007 year of birth.

Competitions are held in order to popularize and promote the mass development of sambo and judo in the Kyrgyz Republic, increase the level of sportsmanship, establish friendly ties with sports teams of the CIS republic.

The organizers are the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office together with the Sambo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the sports club of Bekbolot Rakhatbekov.
