Bishkek, June 22, 2022. / Kabar /. VIII International Yoga Day was celebrated in Osh city of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Osh Mayor’s Office reported.
Events dedicated to the Eighth International Day of Yoga were held at the central city stadium of the city.
The opening event was attended by Vice Mayor of Osh Venera Ryskulova, Chargé d'Affaires of India to the Kyrgyz Republic Rajesh Kumar, representatives of Osh State University, students, active citizens, youth.
In her speech, Ryskulova expressed her gratitude to the representatives of the Indian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic and all the participants of the event, and also expressed her confidence that there are more people practicing yoga and a healthy lifestyle every year.
As part of the event, representatives of the yoga center “Yoga Mama” held yoga classes for the audience, as well as a cultural program with the participation of dance groups and artists of the city department of culture, as well as talented youth from India, the report said.
About 1 thousand people took part in the event.
