The introduction of a quarantine with strict rules, a state of emergency regime are the last measures the state will take in case of a severe deterioration of the epidemiological situation, PM of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov said at a meeting of the Republican Headquarters.
"At the same time, citizens are need to assist in complying with all established sanitary rules and requirements. Only then will we be able to avoid quarantine prohibitions.
Basic economic activities were resumed more than month ago. Today we see a daily worsening of the epidemiological situation in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Chui and Osh Oblasts. Hospitalization of patients in medical facilities remains a problem, there are many complaints.
Health Minister Sabirzhan Abdikarimov said in Bishkek, 540 additional beds have been prepared in medical facilities for citizens.
First Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Almaz Baketayev said the Mayor's Office intends to limit the work of public catering outlets and commercial areas to 10:00 p.m. for disinfection.
The HQ meeting also discussed issues on financing measures aimed at combating coronavirus. The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund have been instructed to make calculations on the projected expenses for the autumn period.
