Bishkek, Aug. 30, 2024. / Kabar/. On August 28, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Malaysia Anvar Anarbaev met with President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) N. Gobalakrishnan.
The diplomatic mission reported that the meeting was also attended by the management and members of four chambers of commerce and industry and the Federation of Manufacturers of Malaysia, representing large businesses in various sectors.
During the meeting, the embassy made a presentation of the investment and trade opportunities of Kyrgyzstan, focusing on such sectors of the economy as agriculture, energy and renewable energy, mining, tourism and IT.
Following the event, the participants noted the importance of establishing sustainable direct ties between the business communities of the two countries and increasing trade volumes.
In addition, plans were discussed to exchange business visits between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia and to hold joint events in the field of trade and investment promotion.
