Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. One of the priorities for the development of exports in Kyrgyzstan is the sale of bees, Director of the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu told at a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.
He noted that the export of honey is not as profitable as the bees themselves, as there are problems with this in Europe.
“For example, Ukraine annually exports bees to Europe for $ 50-60 million. In this regard, we are considering the option of increasing bees on an industrial scale,” he said.
In addition, the priority for the development of exports is the production of continuous basalt fiber, which serves as basis for making pipes, fittings, sports equipment, etc.
“If you look at the industries, attention is paid to the manufacturing industry, the development of IT technologies and areas where the basis has already been laid. It is about agriculture and the textile industry,” Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu added.
