Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2022. /Kabar/. Investors from China are planning to build a sanitary ware factory in Kyrgyzstan. This became known during the meeting of Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan Nuradil Bayasov with representatives of the Chinese Arrow Home Group Co., Ltd.
The meeting was held with the assistance of the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou Ergeshov, who has been negotiating with this company for a year.
The purpose of the visit of representatives of this company is to negotiate the possibility of building a plant for the production of sanitary ware in Kyrgyzstan to develop the markets of the EAEU, Central Asia and Europe.
The Chinese side is represented by Jenny Peng, Regional Director of the International Cooperation Department of Arrow Home Group.
The trademark was registered in 2013, and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in August 2022, according to China's National Corporate Credit Information System, and was able to raise more than USD 200 million in one month. The company's annual turnover is USD 1.5 billion.
In an interview to Kabar Agency Jenny Peng told about the company’s purpose and plans.
“Arrow is the top three brand in China and its really famous in China. Now we are on the way of the globalization of the Arrow branding for the world. As for our company’s policy, we will follow Mr. Xi Jinping’s instruction and focus on Belt and Road initiative countries as our first start. That’s why we choose Central Asia like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan for the first investment investigation, at the first stage. Now with the invitation of the Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Guanzhou we have the opportunity to be here to get more like policy in the benefit that we will get from the local government here. Actually for the exact investment amount at this stage not confirmed may by it will be some 1 million dollars of investments at the first stage. But finally as we what we doing in China that we have a serious categories of plants like we have plants for sanitary ware, plants for the houseset, plants for the ceramic tyle as well as the furniture. I think it will be a limited amount but a t the first stage I think may be like half million dollars to get ceramics plants for the first a time.
To the question about the investment climate in Kyrgyzstan the Chinese Jenny Peng told that she just get best benefit from the investment department. “I think we will benefit from free duty from import of raw material from China. And we also get benefit of zero tax for the sales tax and also the profit tax here in local market. So I think its really good start we found a benefit here to get an investment of plants in Kyrgyzstan. I think I will come back with Chinese all the benefit policy here and to make our management to make a final decision to the second plant may be in Bishkek, in this country,” she said.
