Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2018. /Kabar/. Will President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov implement a large project for the remainder of his term as head of state? Journalists addressed him with such a question today at a press conference.
The President replied that, of course, today the authorities of the country are actively considering all possibilities of implementing projects for the construction of large hydropower plants and the reconstruction of existing power facilities.
“However, we should carefully approach the process of considering investors and their terms,” the President said.
In addition, he also pointed out that today negotiations on the construction of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway are being extensively conducted.
“Negotiations are still underway. There is a little progress. In Russia, we had another meeting with experts. There are a couple of nuances left, and as soon as they are solved, we will begin the implementation of this project as well,” Jeenbekov added.
