Bishkek, Apr.3, 2020. /Kabar/. 132 Kyrgyzstanis, located at the Tolmachevo Airport in Russia’s Novosibirsk and waiting to leave for the Kyrgyz Republic, are accommodated in hotels, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry’s press service said.
The Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Novosibirsk, together with the representative office of Kyrgyzstan’s State Migration Service in the Siberian Federal District and the Kyrgyz Diaspora in Novosibirsk Oblast conducted information and awareness-raising work among Kyrgyz citizens waiting to depart at the Tolmachevo International Airport due to the suspension of regular flights between the two countries.
As a result, 132 Kyrgyz citizens have been accommodated in hotels in Novosibirsk until a charter flight is organized in the near future. Payment for accommodation and meal is made by the Mission of the International Organization for Migration in Kyrgyzstan.
From 8:00 p.m. on March 31, a regime of self-isolation was introduced in Novosibirsk Oblast, as well as ban on movement of citizens and organizations except for a certain category.
