Iran-funded new sports complex solemnly opened in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city

Osh, Dec. 21, 2020. /Kabar/. The official opening ceremony of a new modern sports complex built at the expense of Iran took place in Osh city.

The ceremony was attended by Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov, Iranian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Saeed Kharrazi, Speaker of the Osh City Council Zhaparbek Ormonov and local residents. The estimated cost of the construction of the modern sports complex made almost USD 1 million.

The sports complex has volleyball and basketball halls, halls for boxing, wrestling and gymnastics. There are also seats for 200 spectators and a mini-football field. In addition, the complex is equipped with modern shower cabins, there is an area for a fitness room and a children's playground.

The area of the site allocated for construction works is 5170 square meters. Construction work on the site was carried out by the Iranian construction and trade company "Niku Abniya Alburz - Heath Land".
