Bishkek, July 6, 2023 /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev received on Thursday Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kyrgyzstan Gholamhossein Yadegari on the occasion of presenting copies of credentials.
Artykbaev congratulated Yadegari on his appointment and wished him a successful work as the new Ambassador of Iran to Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation. The deputy minister noted the importance of strengthening and further expansion of trade and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.
He also congratulated the Iranian ambassador on receiving by Iran the status of a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which was awarded during the SCO Summit on July 4 this year.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides expressed readiness to continue working together to develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
