BISHKEK, Aug. 16, 2017. /Kabar/. Chief of the President’s of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov met with head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, Ambassador Pierre von Arks, the President’s press service reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as progress in implementing the OSCE program and project activities in the Kyrgyz Republic, taking into account the recent transformation of the mission.
Sapar Isakov noted with satisfaction the effective work of the OSCE in Kyrgyzstan, and expressed gratitude for the active support of positive changes in the country. At the same time he added that at present the country is carrying out large-scale work on the development of the National Sustainable Development Strategy until 2040, including Taza Koom project.
In his turn, the head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, Ambassador Pierre von Arks, said that the ideas of Taza Koom are in tune with the mission and work of the OSCE. He also stressed the readiness to support Kyrgyzstan in this direction and expressed confidence that soon the sides will be able to work out a plan of joint actions aimed at achieving the goals of implementing the program of digital transformation in the light of the country's strategic initiatives.
The ambassador also added that the Taza Koom program is a vivid example of national leadership both in the country and abroad.
