Isakov: Kyrgyzstan first in Central Asia becomes member of Open Partnership Policy

Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2018 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan is the first country in Central Asia to become a member of the Open Partnership Policy Organization (OPPO). Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov said this at the Open Government conference.

He said that the country became a member of this organization in a short time after the work of his government.

“This means that in fact the government will open data to the public. That is, there will be no secrets from citizens. We will give business to use this data. Many public services will be free of charge and taken for granted,” the Prime Minister said.

Isakov believes that civil society and the government of the country should become the closest partners.

"This is the most important factor in the welfare of the government and the country. Because if there are secrets, then they will turn into big scandals and incomprehensible processes. We promised to be open. We are working for the country and for the people," the Head of Government added.
