Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov, within the framework of his participation in the 6th World Summit of Governments, met with the Director General of Air Arabia Adel Abdullah Ali. During the meeting the sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of aviation, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported.
The Prime Minister invited the head of Air Arabia airlines to consider the possibility of opening new flights through Kyrgyzstan in view of the favorable geographical location of the country.
In turn, Director General of Air Arabia Adel Abdullah Ali expressed the interest in cooperation.
“Air Arabia is ready to become another bridge between the Arab world and Kyrgyzstan. At present, our planes fly to 140 airports around the world, and we hope that the city of Bishkek will become the 141st air haven, " Adel Abdullah Ali said.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister told about reforms in the country, including in the field of civil aviation.
"We expect that the ongoing reforms in the field of civil aviation will give an impetus to the development of the country's economy, business, tourism, logistics, including transportation of passengers and transportation of goods. We are focused on reforms aimed at "opening" our sky, on a policy that will open the market for international airlines. We understand that this is a difficult path, but we will solve the task set before us," he said.
