Isfana town in Kyrgyzstan’s Batken renamed to Razzakov

Bishkek, March 18, 2022. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed on Friday the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On renaming the town of Isfana of Leilek region of Batken Oblast to the town of Razzakov,” his press service reported.

The Law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on March 16, 2022.

The purpose of the Law is to immortalize the name of prominent statesman and political figure Iskhak Razzakov, to strengthen the national ideology, and to improve the spiritual and moral education of citizens on the basis of historical traditions and values.
