Bishkek, April 6 / Kabar /. An agreement has been signed at the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan with the Islamic Development Bank on April 5 to provide loans for the construction of three large projects totaling about 80 million soms, the press service of the Transport Ministry reported.
The agreement was signed during the country seminar of the Islamic Development Bank Group, which was held from April 5 to 6 with the participation of representatives of the Government, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and more than 40 representatives of key ministries and government agencies.
"The Bank approved three new projects, in particular, the North-South alternative road construction project, the Sarymsak irrigation scheme development project and the water supply and sanitation improvement project. All loan agreements are signed. At the moment, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic is completing procedures for the ratification of these loan agreements with the IDB Group," the report said.
