Issue of reopening air service between Osh, Issyk-Kul Oblasts is under consideration

Bishkek, June 5, 2020. /Kabar/. Tourist facilities in Issyk-Kul Oblast are preparing to open, Governor of the oblast Akylbek Osmonaliyev said during a briefing.

He added this year, they are entrusted with the dual responsibility: to ensure safety for tourists and create conditions for comfortable recreation.

Tourism has been allowed to operate since June 1, but preparations are still underway.

According to Osmanaliyev, usually the tourist season starts on June 20, this time it starts a little later.

"This year we will focus on domestic tourists. The Bishkek-Osh transport link has begun operating today. The resumption of Osh - Tamchy - Osh flights from June 15 is also under consideration," he said.
