Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2024. /Kabar/. On February 15, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy Taalai Bazarbaev met with Plenipotentiary Minister, Diplomatic Advisor to Minister of Labor and Social Policy of Italy Michele Cecchi.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the parties discussed issues of social security for citizens of Kyrgyzstan working in Italy and agreed to actively assist the competent authorities of the two states for interaction in the field of social insurance and pensions.
At the same time, an exchange of views took place on the issue of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Italy in the migration sphere, including on the employment of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the manner established by Italian legislation.
Michele Cecchi expressed satisfaction with the active development of bilateral cooperation in the migration field, as well as his readiness to promote the implementation of effective policies in the field of labor migration from Kyrgyzstan to Italy.
