Bishkek, Nov.18, 2019. /Kabar/. A donor conference with the participation of President of Kyrgyzstan will include discussion on supporting the country's development priorities, Head of the Cooperation Department of the European Union to Kyrgyzstan Charlotte Adrien told during the briefing.

She noted the upcoming event on Nov.19 will sum up the results of the donor conference in 2013 and consider plans for the coming four years.

Charlotte Adrien said the country's achievements in the past period will be discussed at the forum in more detail.

“We'll consider several directions. In particular, this is the investment climate, which is certainly a priority for President and the development of the regions. Further, we will discuss digitalization, which is a priority for President and the Government. We will also consider human capital development and climate change,” she added.

Charlotte Adrien noted the event will be held at the initiative of President, which he voiced last year.

“The main goal of the conference is to jointly promote the development of the country, what we can do together for development, and what steps should be taken to do so. Not only the state and donor sectors will participate in the discussion, but also the business community and the civil sector," she added.
