Bishkek, July 31, 2021 . / Kabar / . Owners of 27 houses were evacuated due to the rising water level in the Karakol River and the threat of flooding of nearby houses.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Emergency Ministry reported that trees growing along the river were uprooted, one bridge is in an emergency condition.
A total of 2 vehicles and 64 people were involved in the rescue operation, including employees of the Karakol Department of Emergency Situations.
Work is underway to identify dangerous areas of the Karakol River.
The park, located in Karakol town is reported to be flooded.
In the morning, the water level in the Karakol River had dropped.
