Issyk-Kul included in top 5 most popular places in CIS for recreation

Bishkek, May 29, 2020 / Kabar /. Issyk-Kul entered the top 5 of the most popular places in the CIS for medical and recreational holidays.

The tourist portal TurStat has presented a rating of resorts and CIS countries for a spa and therapeutic recreation in summer.

Resorts in Belarus top the list of the most popular for recreation and treatment in the sanatoriums of the CIS countries.

Top 5 includes resorts on Naroch Lake in Belarus, Burabay resort in Kazakhstan, Naftalan resort in Azerbaijan, Jermuk resort in Armenia and Issyk-Kul lake in Kyrgyzstan.

On average, USD 50-60 are spent per day for accommodation, food and treatment at resorts in the CIS countries.

The rating is based on an analysis of the popularity of CIS resorts for sanatorium-resort and recreation.
