Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2020. /Kabar/. Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Oblast Balbak Tulobayev has resigned, the press service of Issyk-Kul Oblast state administration confirmed the information.
Tulobayev is leaving his post due to the transfer to another position, Kabar Agency has learnt from the state administration.
It is worth noting that earlier Balbak Tulobayev already announced his resignation. On Oct. 6 the Issyk-Kul Oblast governor wrote a letter of resignation.
“Thanks. I have no moral right,” Tulobayev wrote then on his Facebook page.
He took the office of Issyk-Kul Oblast on July 27, 2020.
Until his appointment to the post, Tulobayev served as Chief of the Office of the Bishkek Mayor's Office since 2018.
