Bishkek, Nov. 29, 2024 . / Kabar / . As part of his working trip, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Türkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, especially at the regional level, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
Special attention was paid to the intensification of interaction between the cities of Osh and Istanbul within the framework of the existing agreement on twinning ties.
Ambassador Kazakbaev handed over an official letter of invitation from Mayor of Kyrgyzstan's Osh city Bakyt Zhetigenov to pay a working visit.
In turn, Mayor Imamoglu expressed gratitude for the invitation and announced his intention to visit Kyrgyzstan, including the cities of Osh and Bishkek, in the first half of 2025.
Ruslan Kazakbaev informed about the reforms being carried out in Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of President Sadyr Zhaparov and the Cabinet of Ministers aimed at strengthening the economy and improving the welfare of the population.
