It has become easier for residents of the regions to acquire loans – Jeenbekov tells why

Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. Residents of the regions could not receive loans due to the lack of collateral, as the initiative residents repeatedly complained about to the authorities of Kyrgyzstan.

To solve this problem, as President Sooronbay Jeenbekov pointed out at a forum on regional development, the State Guarantee Fund was created.

“It is the Guarantee Fund that helps them solve this problem. The volume of funds issued by the Guarantee Fund increased threefold, guarantees were presented to 656 projects in the amount of 755 million soms. The Guarantee Fund and banks increased the volume of issued loans, and as a result loans were provided in the amount of about 3 billion soms,” the president said.

He noted that this figure will be increased, funds will be sent to the regions, first of all, to the processing industry.
