Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev held on Tuesday a working dinner with representatives of the Senate (upper house) of the Italian Parliament, as well as representatives of Italian companies specializing in renewable energy, hydropower, agriculture, and metallurgy.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the dinner was held as part of Kazakbaev’s working visit to Rome.
The representatives of the Italian Parliament emphasized that the establishment of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Italy opens new opportunities for deepening cooperation between the sides. They expressed acceptance with the need to open the Italian Embassy in Bishkek and readiness to visit Kyrgyzstan in the framework of the 2022 jubilee year.
Representatives of Italian business circles emphasized their great interest in the Kyrgyz market and expressed readiness to organize a visit of a business delegation to Kyrgyzstan this month to establish contacts with representatives of Kyrgyz business, as well as to discuss the implementation of projects in priority sectors of the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
