Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2018. / Kabar /. Famous Italian scientist Augusto Forti sent a letter to Chyngyz Aitmatov’s son Eldar Aitmatov to share his memories of the Issyk-Kul Forum.
“It is a great honor for me to be a friend of Chyngyz. The Issyk-Kul Forum was a decisive event during a political difficult time, assessed by UNESCO and people working for peace. I will never forget the unique power of his ideas and at the same time his humanity. Chyngyz Aitmatov is the pride of the Kyrgyz people,” says in the letter of the Italian scientist.
The first part of the international Issyk-Kul forum "Chyngyz Aitmatov and the challenges of our time" has started in Bishkek. Further the forum will continue its work in the city of Cholpon-Ata on the shore of the Issyk-Kul lake.
