The 4th Issyk-Kul Economic Forum kicks off in Kyrgyzstan

Cholpon- Ata, Aug. 22, 2017 / Kabar /. The 4th Issyk-Kul Economic Forum has started in Cholpon-Ata.

This event is orgainzed by the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic with the aim of creating a single discussion platform for discussing the prospects that are opening up to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

Leaders of business, financial and political circles of the EEU member states, countries of near and far abroad, representatives of the highest level of the regional and international investment community will take part in the forum. During a number of events they will discuss issues and projects on economic cooperation, expansion and establishment of new business contacts, as well as negotiate the possibility of signing mutually beneficial agreements.

In 2016, the Forum hosted more than 500 participants - political and public figures, heads of international organizations and companies, leading experts, diplomats, and media representatives. In total, more than 100 foreign and foreign companies of various industries were represented.

This year, the Forum envisages holding a plenary session with the participation of the Vice Prime Ministers of the EEU member states, heads of foreign delegations and diplomatic missions. In addition to the main plenary session, it is planned to hold thematic sessions in the following areas: elimination of obstacles to the free movement of goods, services, capital and labor in the Eurasian Economic Union; construction / construction services market, financial sector, tourism and health.

The Forum will give an opportunity for organizing and holding B2B meetings with business representatives of China, Turkey, India and the countries of EEU.

Within the framework of the Economic Forum, organizers will present the investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic, major investment and export projects planned for implementation in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic for joint promotion with potential partners, as well as the presentation of the national project “Taza Koom”.

Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vasily Matyushevsky, First Deputy Prime Minister Kazakhstan Askar Mamin and the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan are participating in the forum.
