IV Mountain Summit to take place in Kyrgyzstan on October 23-26

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2018. /Kabar/. The 4th Mountain Summit will take place in Kyrgyzstan on October 23-26, Kyrgyz Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Abdyldaev told at a briefing.

He said that this summit is aimed at drawing attention of the global society on the issues of mountainous and landlocked countries.

“The summit is taking place in different countries. We are deliberately holding it in our state to draw attention on mountain ecosystems with the aim of preserving them”, he said.

Moreover, at the end of the year the three-year membership of Kyrgyzstan in UN in the field of human rights will conclude.

“We will sum everything up”, he added.
