The ceremony of handing over medical equipment under the grant program of the Japanese government "Grass Roots and Human Security" was held at the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the grant contract, the National Center for Cardiology received a portable digital ultrasound system of an expert class with a sensor for transesophageal echocardiography for a total amount of 6 million 634 thousand 544 Kyrgyz soms.
The event was held with the participation of Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova, Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Goda Hideki.
In her welcoming speech, the Kyrgyz minister expressed special gratitude and appreciation to the ambassador, the coordinators of the program "Grass Roots and Human Security" for their support in providing healthcare organizations with equipment.
“With the provided portable ECHOCG device, it will be possible to further improve the quality of medical care for patients with acute coronary syndrome. The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic will make every effort to strengthen the emergency cardiological service in the country, improve accessibility and improve the quality of medical care for patients,” Baatyrova said.
