Japan to donate equipment to psycho-neurological boarding school in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2023 / Kabar/. The Government of Japan will present a number of technical equipment and cars to the Pokrovsky mixed psycho-neurological social inpatient institution in Talas Oblast of Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan said that the institution will receive an ultrasound therapy machine, a dental unit, a washing machine, a Toyota medical service vehicle, and more, totaling USD 98,160.

The signing of a grant contract between Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Goda Hideki, and director of the Pokrovsky boarding school Asankan Saparaliev, took place on Wednesday.

“Our ministry is ready and open to cooperation with Japanese partners. The Ministry of Labor is developing measures aimed at creating conditions for citizens of Kyrgyzstan to find employment in Japan. Also last year, with the assistance of the Japanese Embassy, humanitarian assistance was provided to social institutions in the Chui region. We are ready to progressively and closely cooperate with you,” said the head of the Ministry of Social Development Kudaibergen Bazarbaev.

The assistance was provided within the framework of the grant program.
