Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2024. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek hosted on Monday talks on a number of issues with the Japanese delegation with the participation of representatives of a number of state bodies, such as the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance, etc.
The National Agency for Investment (NAI) under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the purpose of this initiative is to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries, to provide Japanese companies with more convenient conditions for doing business in the republic, as well as to discuss potential investment projects and attract Japanese companies in key sectors of the Kyrgyz economy.
The meeting participants discussed prospects for joint projects in such areas as energy, agriculture, tourism, infrastructure and information technology.
“This platform contributes to improving the business climate, establishing partnerships and simplifying procedures for the implementation of investment projects,” Deputy Director of NAI Zhalyn Zheenaliev said.
