Bishkek, Jan.16, 2025. /Kabar/. Bishkek hosted on Thursday a meeting between Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lira Samykbaeva and heads of IM Japan.
The sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of training, as well as the implementation of joint educational programs, the press service of Education Ministry said.
They also considered in detail the issues of experience exchange between the countries and familiarized with the activities of IM Japan. Special attention was paid to the interaction with leading higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, in particular, the Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn and the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaaly Arabaev.
IM Japan expressed readiness to accept up to 100 trainees from Kyrgyzstan annually for professional training in Japan. The internship program covers areas such as nursing, HoReCa (hotel and restaurant business), transport services (drivers), and culinary arts.
Before leaving for Japan, trainees will undergo comprehensive training: Japanese language training, familiarization with the country's culture, and mastery of professional duties. After arrival in Japan, additional training is provided to enhance their skills.
IM Japan has also expressed interest in supporting the interns after the program, helping them to apply their knowledge and skills in Kyrgyzstan. This approach aims to strengthen human resource capacity and professional development in the regions.
