Bishkek, April 1, 2024 / Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev arrived today in Malaysia for a two-day official visit at the invitation of his colleague Utama Haji Mohamad Haji Hassan.
According to data of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan, on the first day of the visit, a meeting was held between the foreign ministers of the two countries, during which the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral interaction and cooperation, including in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of intensification of Kyrgyz-Malaysian bilateral relations and stressed the importance of maintaining this trend for their further strengthening. Particular attention was paid to the development of trade and economic cooperation, attracting investments, opening direct flights between our countries, as well as developing relationships in the field of education and the halal industry.
The parties emphasized the importance of organizing mutual visits at a high and senior level and expanding the legal framework. There was also an exchange of views on current issues on the international and regional agenda.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue the course of strengthening and developing Kyrgyz-Malaysian relations, including mutual support in international organizations.
